Chevrolet Cruze


It is subcompact crossover SUV of General Motors (GM), but around 2001 and 2008, Suzuki, Japan manufactured it since the joint venture agreement with GM. Thus, this new variant restores the previous Chevrolet Cobalt and Daewoo Lacetti.

Car design

The first generation of this variant is J300 Holden Cruze CDX sedan and has been produced since 2008 up now. It is also known as Daewoo Lacetti Premiere. It offers four doors sedan and five doors hatchback. It uses GM Delta II platform. Therefore, it supports with 1.4 L Ecotec I4 of engine gasoline resulting 103 kW or 138 hp and 200 N•m (150 lb•ft) of torque by six speeds manual transmission and 201 N•m (148 lb•ft) of torque by six speeds GM 6T40 automatic transmission. The 1.6 L Ecotec I4 produces 83 kW or 111 hp and 153 N•m (113 lb•ft) of torque by five speeds manual and six speeds GM 6T40 automatic transmission. The 1.8 L Ecotec I4 results 104 kW or 139 hp and 176 N•m (130 lb•ft) of torque by five and six speeds manual and gives 101 kW or 136 hp and 167 N•m (123 lb•ft) of torque by six speeds GM 6T30 and GM 6T40 automatic transmission. For 2.0 L VCDi I4 of engine diesel, it gives 110 kW or 150 hp and 320 N•m (240 lb•ft) of torque by 5 and 6 speeds manual transmission and results 120 kW or 160 hp and 360 N•m (270 lb•ft) of torque by six speeds manual and six speeds GM 6T45 automatic transmission.
