2011 Eagle Jaguar E-Type Speedster Lightweight

2011 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Speedster by Eagle will debut in 2011 the Salon Prive, supercar Concours d'Elegance and luxury, held at Syon House in west London on June 22 to 24, 2011.

Powered by a 4.7L 6 cylinder engine makes 310-hp with maximum torque of 340 lb-ft at 3600 rpm. Mated with a 5-speed gearbox, E-Type Lightweight Speedster goes from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph.

Machine connected to a five-speed manual transmission, which allows roadster to accelerate from 0-60 mph in fewer than 5 sec. Also, it can suppress a top speed of 160 mph (258 km / h).

E-Type Lightweight Speedster sports 16-inch tires on aluminum rims with a radius of stainless-steel, drilled and aluminum caliper disc brakes with vented 4-pot, double wishbones, adjustable shocks and stabilizer bars.

The technical tour de force is the original Lightweight E-Type based aluminium 4.7 litre fuel injected engine and aluminium drive train. While retaining an external appearance identical to the original, they enable the car to offer a power- to- weight ratio matching that of the very latest Porsche 911 Turbo.

2011 New Jaguar XKR

The stunning new Jaguar XKR Special Edition delivers a significantly raised maximum speed – 174mph (280km/h). Now, in Special Edition guise, the Jaguar XKR’s top speed climbs significantly from an electronically limited 155mph (250km/h) to 174mph (280km/h) thanks to the addition of the Speed Pack. Allied to that remarkable engine is an advanced six-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted paddles, lightweight aluminum body structure and a range of computer-controlled systems including Active Differential Control and Adaptive Dynamics that ensure the supercharged car accelerates even faster.

Best Jaguar, Land Rover Finally Turn Profit

If you were among the few Jaguar/Land Rover fans that wondered why Ford would sell off two brands they’d just invested millions in, congratulations, you can now tell your friend’s “I told you so.”

Having bled cash for a while prior to the sale, both companies were given new facilities and new models right before their disownment, and it would appear that investment from Ford has finally paid off as Tata has recently announced that both companies have turned a profit. Yes, you read that right, a profit. Thanks to an increase of 23% in total sales over the last quarter, Jaguar/Land Rover posted a profit of almost $5 million.

While nothing to write home about (that’ll only buy you around 50 XK’s), the profit demonstrates exactly how far the two firms have come from their darker days. Now producing vehicles that are easily the equal of competitors once thought out of reach, it’s good to finally see the buying public expressing their confidence in the two historic firms.
