It is the variant of three different generations manufactured by Dodge, a division of Chrysler. It was produced in 1970–1974 in several cities in State, which was Hamtramck, Michigan, Los Angeles and California.
This classic car offers 2 doors convertible and hardtop by using E-body platform. This variant is powered by 198 cu in (3.2 L) Slant 6 I6, 225 cu in (3.7 L) Slant 6 I6, 318 cu in (5.2 L) LA V8, 340 cu in (5.6 L) LA V8, 360 cu in (5.9 L) LA V8, 383 cu in (6.3 L) B V8, 426 cu in (7 L) Hemi V8 and 440 cu in (7.2 L) RB V8. The trasmission ranges from 3 and 4 speeds manual as well as 3 speeds of TorqueFlite automatic. The 1970 Dodge Challenger provides more extended wheelbase and ore exclusive interior. The hardtop model of 1970 Dodge Challanger provides several models, such as Challenger Six, Challenger V8, T/A Challenger (1970 only) and Challenger R/T, while the convertible is 1970 and 1971 version. The engine performance provides 225 cu in (3.7 L) six-cylinder, the V8 gives 230 bhp (171.5 kW) of power and 318 cu in (5.2 L) V8 with 2 barrels carburetor. Therefore, the R/T (Road/Track) powered with 383 CID Magnum V8 provides 335 bhp (249.8 kW) and the 1971 model is 300 bhp (223.7 kW).
