Audi TT

Started in 1998, Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Gyor, Hungary produced a two doors sports car. It was produced as 2+2 Coupé or two-seater Roadster. The characteristic of Audi TT is the equal power train and suspension design comprising a front-mounted transversely oriented engine, front-wheel drive or quattro permanent four-wheel drive system and entirely free front suspension by using MacPherson struts.

Car specification

The model launched comprises of Audi TT Mk1 (Typ 8N) produced in 1998-2006. This car is powered by 1.8 litre I4 20v Turbo and 3.2 L VR6 and for all 180 PS model use 5 speed manual transmission and for 225 PS model uses 6 speed manual, 6 speed Tiptronic, 6 speed DSG (3.2L) transmission. The variant of Audi TT Roadster supported by 1.8 litre inline four cylinder 20-valve turbocharged engine in two states of DIN-rated power outputs; 180 PS (132 kW; 178 hp) and 225 PS (165 kW; 222 hp). Then, Audi TT Quattro Sport is powered by 1.8 litre turbocharged engine increasing to 240 PS (177 kW; 237 hp) and 320 newton metres (236 ft•lbf) of torque permitting 0 to 100 kilometres per hour (0 to 62.1 mph) is in 5.9 seconds and reaches limited top speed of 250 kilometres per hour (155.3 mph) electronically. The second model is Audi TT Mk2 (Typ 8J) produce since 2006 up to now. It is powered by 1.8 L I4 FSI Turbo, 2.0 L I4 FSI Turbo, 2.5 L I5 FSI Turbo (TT RS only), 3.2 L VR6 and 2.0 I4 TDI CR diesel of engine with 6 speed manual, 6 speed S tronic and 7 speed S tronic (RS only) transmission. It utilizes the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform, uses aluminum in the front body panels, steel in the rear, and provides in 2+2 Coupé and two seater Roadster. The choice of power train of this model comprises of petrol engines consisting one of two inline four cylinder engines and EA113-variant 2.0 liter TFSI. Therefore, this model offers 6 speeds manual transmission fitted with the 6 speed Direct-Shift Gearbox, called S-TRONIC and for 1.8 liter engine Quattro uses Haldex Traction clutch. The entire suspension system utilizes Audi Magnetic Ride. The brand new style is modified rear spoiler. Automatically, the speed is up to 120 kilometres per hour (75 mph) and the driver can control the spoiler manually by a button on the dash. The variant of 2.0 TDI Quattro, it offers in Coupé and Roadster versions. The engine uses new 2.0 litre Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI), currently with 16 valves, double overhead camshaft (DOHC), 1,800-bar (26,110 psi) common rail fuel delivery and eight-hole piezo fuel injectors. It makes the car produces DIN-rated output of 125 kilowatts (170 PS; 168 bhp) at 4,200 revolutions per minute (rpm) and torque of 350 newton meter (258 ft•lbf) at 1,750 to 2,500 rpm including 6 speeds manual transmission. The speed of Coupe reaches 100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) in 7.5 seconds and the top speed is 226 kilometres per hour (140.4 mph), while the Roadster achieves 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and the top speed is 223 kilometres per hour (138.6 mph). The other variant is Audi TTS Quattro. The engine generates DIN-rated motive power output of 200 kilowatts (272 PS; 268 bhp) and produces torque turning force of 350 newton metres (258 ft•lbf) from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm. The transmission offers 6 speed close-ratio manual transmission, 6 speed S tronic transmission. The speed of Audi TTS Coupé can get is to 100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) in 5.4 seconds, while Roadster is two-tenths slower at 5.6 seconds. Then, next variant is Audi TT Clubsport quattro concept. The interior detail gives lightweight aluminum and the transmission is 6-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission with quattro four-wheel drive. Further, Audi TT RS has great performance five-cylinder turbocharged engines comprising entirely new 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection (TFSI) petrol engine generating DIN-rated motive power output of 250 kilowatts (340 PS; 335 bhp) from 5,400 to 6,700 rpm and torque of 450 newton meters (332 ft•lbf) at 1,600-5,300 rpm. It has new short-shift close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, modified rear spoiler. The speed performance of Audi TT RS Coupé is to 100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) in 4.6 seconds and it is 4.7 seconds for the Roadster.
