Ford F-150






It is the newest variant full-scale pickup trucks of F-Series from Ford Motor Company. Therefore, it is the most famous variant of the F-Series. This variant is being manufactured since 2008 up to now. There are several names for this variant, such as in Mexico is called Ford Lobo and for its platinum version is Lincoln Mark LT.

Car specifications

This variant has 2 doors pickup and 4 doors pickup by using Ford P2 platform, while the engine uses 3.5 L EcoBoost V6, 3.7 L Cyclone V6, 4.6 L (281 CID) 2V V8, 4.6 L (281 CID) 3V V8, 5.0 L (302 CID) Coyote V8, 5.4 L (330 CID) 3V V8 and 6.2 L (379 CID) 2V V8. Then, the transmission ranges from 4 speeds and 6 speeds automatic. The configuration of its wheelbase is 126 in (3,200 mm) aiming for short bed and 144.5 in (3,670 mm) for long bed as well as 163 in (4,140 mm) for extended cabin of 8 beds and 138.5 in (3,518 mm) for crew cab. Moreover, this truck variant offers bigger and more elastic interior, simplified three bars lattice and extra options of cab models and trim ranks. In addition, it is added with lighter-weight chassis, low force plastic for improved fuel cutback and protection and enhanced shipment and towing ability. The engine’s performance is that 5.4 L 3-valve Triton V8 gives 320 hp (240 kW) and 395 lb·ft (536 N·m) of torque, 4.6 L 3-valve V8a provides 292 hp (218 kW), and 4.6 L 2-valve V8 outputs 248 hp (185 kW). The recent variant of F-150 is equipped with new engine lineups. It is 3.7 L V6 and 5.0 L V8 as well as 6.2 L V8. It has 6 speeds automatic transmission (6R80), electric power-assisted steering and towing capability and hauling capacity can lift over 11,300 lbs and 3,060 lbs.
